Inspired by nature and botany in her local surroundings in Helsinge, Denmark, Pernille Folcarelli collects plants for printing and creates art prints that offer a space to breathe within the hectic world around us. Her botanical selections are chosen on the basis of shape, leaf structure, character or symbolism. In her studio, the fresh plants are then used to make imprints on paper through a handmade printing process.
