
Scorched Red Clay Bowl
These beautiful unglazed dishes are made by hand in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca and pit fired, which results in unique markings where some of the clay is scorched. Best used decoratively or for dry foods, as the clay will absorb liquid (much like terracotta would) and can be stained by oils.
